This bag is well thought out and made of good quality & priced right. Only con is the bag feels unbalanced when inserting a compact travel tripod in the side pocket. I found it best to attach it to the center of the front of the bag with the supplied straps. The interior padding and pockets are appreciated.

Will Solstice V2 24L hold D850 with grip? Can Tamron 24-200 2.8 w/ Arca Swiss foot also fit?
Asked by: Don West
The Tenba Solstice V2 Backpack (Black, 24L) (B&H #TESV224LBPBK) could fit the Nikon D850 DSLR Camera (B&H# NID850) with the Nikon MB-D18 Multi-Power Battery Pack (B&H# NIMBD18) attached to it if the camera is on its side. This is because the width dimension (i.e., left-to-right measurement) of the camera is 5.7". Please keep in mind that we are saying it could fit only because the soft panel that touches it will be only slightly flexed since it is just 5.5" away from the base of the compartment holding the camera. The same is true of the Tamron Aspherical AF 28-200mm f/3.8-5.6 LD [ iF ] Zoom Lens 571D for Nikon Mount in that it will also need to be on its side. Regarding the camera’s positioning, since the height of the camera is 4.9", if that is added to by the height of the Nikon MB-D18 Multi-Power Battery Pack (B&H# NIMBD18), which is 2" tall, that makes the total height 6.9" and that would be 1.4" more than the official capacity of the compartment. As such, we are only saying that the combination of the camera and battery grip will fit if the camera is put on its side when the battery grip is attached and only while flexing the panel in the front of the bag.

Sony with a 400GM attached, will it fit? With room to spare?
Asked by: Matthew
The short answer is that the lens hood would likely be a tight fit since (according to the specs online) it is 6.8 inches in diameter versus the depth of the bag at 5.5 inches. The longer answer is that matching large diameter supertelephoto lenses in a bag with mirrorless cameras is a tough match these days because everyone who owns a mirrorless camera essentially prefers a bag that’s as shallow as possible to match the camera height (usually around 4.5-4.7” tall), whereas the hood for these large lenses is 2” taller than the camera itself, which leads to a much larger bag than most users want to carry.

Can you use this comfortably as an over the shoulder bag rather than a backpack?
Asked by: Gary
The Tenba Solstice V2 Sling Bag (Black, 16L) can be used as a backpack or a sling bag. You can swing it around to the front like a shoulder bag. This is an image of it in that use: https://bhpho.to/4bJTfMj.

Will Nikon Z8 with attached 600mm f6.3 S fit and also have space for Nikon 20mm f1.8 S?

For that combination, instead of the Tenba Solstice V2 Sling Bag (Gray, 12L), we recommend the Tenba Solstice V2 Sling Bag (Gray, 16L), B&H # TESV216LSBGY.

Can someone confirm it indeed fit an A9 III + 300 GM with hood attach? The specs seem little tight. The lens hood measures 6” in diameter.

Is it possible to fit a Nikon D750 with attached 24-70mm and have space for two other lenses, one being as large as a Nikon 70-300mm?
Asked by: Mike
The Tenba Solstice V2 Sling Bag (Gray, 12L) interior dimensions are 15.5 x 8 x 4.5". The Nikon D750 DSLR Camera with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR Lens attached will fit inside, and you will have additional space to fit one more lens that is similar in size to the Nikon AF-P NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR Lens.

How do we feel about the Sony 400-800 with body attached in this bag for ease of access?
Asked by: Mitchel
The Tenba Solstice V2 Sling Bag (Black, 16L) is too small to fit a Sony A7r5 attached to the Sony FE 400-800mm f/6.3-8 G OSS Lens (Sony E) with the hood in reverse. Without the hood at all it would fit but be tight.
