I'm am not a very good photographer yet, but, with this camera I can get good clear shots of wildlife from quite a long distance. I'm looking forward to improving as I learn more about using the various settings.

It shoots RAW but the image quality is soft & crappy. You really need to do a lot of work on the files. Shoot RAW with jpg so you'll have a fairly usable file fast.

How well does it do in the evening or dark shade at ISO 3200? Noise?
Asked by: Michael
Hello Mike! The DC-FZ80D would have an 1/2.3 MOS image sensor, since it is a smaller sensor there might be some noticeable noise at ISO 3200. Using a lower ISO with careful exposure and a lower shutter speed is advised for better performance in these conditions, especially if you are using a tripod. - S
