I generally like this thing. Both the lens and the mount seem to be very high quality. The mount has two locations for mounting the lens, so there is some adjustability. Unfortunately, for my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note) the two mounting hole options are either side of where the perfect location would be, and with the wrap-around arm being as short as it is I can't get a perfect location centered over the phone lens. But I can get it close enough to work. My other comment is that it doesn't seem to have as much magnification as I'd expected. It definitely has some, but just not as much as I'd expected. Nevertheless, I'm going to keep it as I'm better off having it than not.

Using for close-up photos of electronic components. Good quality glass. A bit bulky and heavy, as most decent lenses are. Somewhat limits focal distance range, so it’s a one-trick pony. 2”-5” away seems to work well. My only gripe is that you have to unscrew the lens from the mount bracket to fit it back in the included case. I designed and 3D printed a spacer for my phone and case to help with camera alignment.
