This case offers excellent protection for the camera. It's sturdy, it provides a nice buffer for the camera while holding it firmly in place. It would be great if it had some kind of belt loop. I glued a big clip to its back, which worked ok, but a loop would have been better. Opening the case tends to pop off the lens cap if the cap is installed in one way rather than another. Not a problem, but something to be aware of - you'll know what I mean once you open it a few times.
Case itself is well done. Don't buy it if you keep a lens filter on it. Even that nominal difference makes it unusable with a filter.
