Well made strap, looks great with the camera. It comes with the small ring to attach to the camera, and a small piece of leather to protect the camera from getting scratched by the ring.

I do not know why Leica, in one of the Q&As for this item, advised getting a more robust strap for use on M series cameras. To me this strap seems quite strong and well made and therefore able to carry heavier M cameras just as well as lighter D Lux cameras. Its main benefit for me is that it is adjustable to greater lengths than most other Leica straps and therefore is better suited to crossbody camera carry than other Leica straps (or other straps in general).

For the Leica M10 and any M series camera, it would be recommended to use a more robust strap like the B&H # LEWSB Leica cat # 18782 leather strap as the M10 is a much heavier camera than the D-Lux 8.
