It’s a well made strap, light and strong. But where it overlaps when shortened it could use another buckle to keep it together. Has rings at the end, not a quick release mechanism. I bought 2 small turnbuckle for the purpose.
Though Leica says the wrist strap is for the lighter D-Lux camera, it works well with the Q series. I attached it to the ring of Leica's braided rope-strap for both a Q3 53 and a Q3 Monochrom. That way I can carry each camera two ways, around the wrist or the neck. The wrist strap material is tough enough that it won't wear out.
