Eartec Ultralite Pro16 Overview

Includes 9 Dual-Ear True-Wireless Headsets
This UltraLITE Pro16 Long-Range Dual-Channel Full-Duplex Wireless Intercom System from Eartec includes nine UltraLITE Pro16 Dual-Ear Headsets (one master and eight remotes), nine rechargeable LiPo batteries, one ten-port charger, and an extra-large soft-side case. It is designed to accommodate nine people who need to communicate wirelessly while simultaneously working with their hands. The Pro16 version of the UltraLITE line-up features a long 10-hour battery life and a 1/2-mile line-of-site operating range.
A Two-Channel Full-Duplex System with No Hub Needed
UltraLITE Pro16 all-in-one wireless headsets can link up to 16 users in full duplex without a base station or hub. Designed with a lightning-fast microprocessor that provides two channels of simultaneous hands-free communication, the Pro16 allows separate groups to speak privately. Connect your entire crew in a full-duplex conference with the simple touch of a button. The Pro16 talking pattern is easily modified in the field or expanded to accommodate your changing needs.
Specialty RF Technology Provides Interference-Free Talk
The Pro16 has been engineered with Active Frequency Hopping technology. This specialty wireless technique allows the headsets to monitor the surrounding environment and automatically switch channels whenever necessary to easily avoid interference. The operating range has been increased three-fold to over a 1/2 mile line of sight.
Engineered for Clear Audio and All-Day Comfort
The UltraLITE headsets have the transceiver built right inside the earcup, eliminating headset wires and belt-worn radios. They provide two-way voice communication and the microphone arm can swivel 270°, allowing you to wear the mic on the left or right side. Raising the mic boom into the up position automatically mutes the microphone.

A fortified mic assembly, featuring internal metal construction and stainless attachment hardware is now standard. The new deluxe earpad is extra wide, soft, and weather resistant. New, large-capacity lithium-ion polymer batteries provide an impressive run time of up to 10 hours.

Is the long range system line of sight and can it penetrate concrete walls?
Asked by: Kevin
The wireless range for the Eartec UltraLITE Pro16 Long-Range Dual-Channel Full-Duplex Wireless Intercom System with 8 Single-Ear Headsets (2.4 GHz) is limited to line of sight. Its ability to transmit the signal through concrete walls is limited and depends on the density and type of construction of the wall itself. If the signal is able to pass through the wall, the effective range of transmission will be decreased significantly, as dense materials like concrete absorb and reflect radio frequencies, and if the wall contains steel reinforcement, it can block the signal entirely.

Asked by: Daniel
When using the Eartec UltraLITE Pro16 Long-Range Dual-Channel Full-Duplex Wireless Intercom System with 10 Dual-Ear Headsets (2.4 GHz) only one headset can be the master, but it can split the group into two separate channels for communication.
