The Radius RAD-1 (Dark Edition) is a microphone shockmount suitable primarily for indoor booming or outdoors with no winds, when using the mic by itself or with only a foam windscreen. Designed to hold short shotgun and small-diaphragm pencil microphones (19-25mm in diameter, up to 150mm in length), this suspension provides exceptional isolation from movement, handling noise, and other vibrations associated with booming.
The RAD-1 (Dark Edition) features two soft-coated universal mic clips (dark grey). To achieve the best isolation for your style of booming, two pairs of interchangeable RAD-1 hoops are included: standard firmness (black) and soft firmness (dark grey). The base of the shockmount comes with a 360° rotatable XLR holder to further isolate the mic from cable noise. There is a 3/8"-16 thread at the bottom to mount the RAD-1 on boompoles, stands, or with quick-connect attachments.

- All of the components of the RAD-1, RAD-2, and RAD-3 shockmounts are produced using virtually indestructible thermoplastic elastomers from high-precision injection molding in an ISO-9000 certified factory (no 3D printing ).
