Designed for boompole and handheld recording outdoor, the Radius RAD-2 Combo Set includes a RAD-2 microphone shockmount with a boompole swivel adapter, 360° rotatable XLR holder, and three pairs of interchangeable RAD-2 hoops with different levels of firmness. A handle grip with 3/8" thread and a low-profile 3-pin XLR jumper cable (11") are also included.
The RAD-2 features two soft-coated universal mic clips (dark gray). To achieve the best isolation for your style of booming, three pairs of interchangeable RAD-2 hoops are included: standard firmness (black), soft firmness (dark gray), and extra-firm (dark blue). The RAD-2 hoops are slightly thicker than RAD-1 hoops and have an extra 3mm of bracing on top to hold the extra weight of front-heavy microphones.
The base of the shockmount comes with a 360° rotatable XLR holder to further isolate the mic from cable noise. There is a 3/8"-16 thread at the bottom to mount the RAD-2 on boompoles, stands, or with quick-connect attachments.
