Made from a proprietary composite material, the K-Tek KC108CC Indie is a lightweight (at 1.5 lb), 5-section boompole that extends to 9'. It collapses to a compact 29.5" to conveniently fit in a standard 1650 or 1637 Peli-Case or medium-sized luggage for easy travel. The top attachment is a 3/8"-16 male thread that accommodates a wide variety of microphone shockmounts.
The KC108CC Indie features an internal, coiled cable with a straight XLR exit connection at the base of the pole. The boompole's anodized collars feature a knurled surface that provides a firm grip and smooth feel when opening and closing each collar. The tubes' finish allows the sections to glide open and close effortlessly. Additionally, the tubes are hand-burnished to diffuse handling noise. The KC108CC is manufactured in the USA, with in-house support and repair.
