The MA016 VESA Monitor Mount Adapter from Neewer mounts flat displays and TV screens up to 44 lb using an Arca-type quick release mounting design. Using the 75 x 75mm and 100 x 100mm standard hole patterns and included M4 screws, the adapter is easy to install and remove. The 360° rotatable metal ball head and its 90° tilt allow for more refined positioning. The adapter's 5/8" receiver attaches to C-stands and desktop monitors and is ideal for TV production sets or conference presentations.

Does the lock for the quick release rely on friction alone or is there some sort of positive locking action?
The Neewer MA016 VESA Monitor Mount Adapter relies on friction alone. This is why it only supports 44lb.
