Therefore, using a computer with an Ethernet port (plus an ethernet cable) is recommended, but you can still use a USB-C cable from the camera to a computer whether you are using the grip or not.

While the Canon BG-R20EP Battery Grip with Ethernet Port features a high-speed 2.5G Base-T Ethernet port and its primary functions are high-speed file transfer and remote camera control rather than native live video streaming or power delivery, the Canon BG-R20EP does not support Power over Ethernet (PoE) to power the camera, and currently, there is no native way to get a live NDI video feed directly out of the BG-R20EP Ethernet port.
