Considering a comparable Fuji brand lens is nearly 3 to 4 times the cost. I’m extremely happy with how this lens performs obviously it has its limitations given. It doesn’t have auto focus, but I think in the right lighting it’s going to be amazing. I used it for the first time out in harsh lighting I think it handled it great.

Almost Great!

This lens is quite similar to the Speedmaster 65mm F1.4. Center resolution of 80mm at 1.6 is similar to center resolution of 65mm at 1.4. I prefer the slightly shorter and wider form factor of the 80mm f1.6. Both lenses perform similar to the Voigtlander 50mm F1.0 lens while it is in 35mm format mode. Because of the minimal sliver of focal plane, you really can't focus any of them wide open on a living subject. The Samyang SP f1.2 series is better in all aspects because the Fringer adapter help you find focus at F1.2, and instantly changes the aperture to F1.6 to actually capture the photo. The Samyang SP f1.2 series is also sharper wide open then the Speedmaster series. If you need corner to corner sharpness, buy a GF lens.
