The Watson VM-230-SP SmartPower V-Mount Battery is a high-capacity battery that offers 230Wh of power, ideal for professional cameras, monitors, and LED lights that require up to 15A. Equipped with a V-mount plate and four D-Tap outputs, it can efficiently power essential set gear. Additionally, its USB-C and USB-A outputs allow you to charge cell phones, tablets, and wireless receivers and transmitters without disrupting your workflow. Recharging is convenient via the V-mount or USB-C port.

Designed for professionals, the VM-230-SP SmartPower battery features a backlit LCD screen that provides detailed battery status. Watson Dual-Position Compact V-Mount Charger

The Watson Pro Dual-Position V-Mount Battery Charger ensures you have fully charged V-mount lithium-ion batteries for your studio or on-location lighting, cameras, recorders, and monitors. With no need for special equipment, simply plug the charger into any available power outlet. It can simultaneously charge two V-mount batteries, delivering 16.8V at 3A.

Constructed from sturdy solid metal, it's durable for transportation, and heat dissipation louvers prevent delays from automatic overheating shutdowns. Its stable base allows for standalone use, while rubber feet prevent surface damage. Clear indicator LEDs signal when batteries are fully charged. Moreover, the charger incorporates built-in protections against overvoltage, overcurrent, short-circuits, and temperature fluctuations, safeguarding your valuable V-mount batteries from potential damage due to mishaps, power surges, or spikes.

V-Mount Battery Charging
You'll never be without V-mount power through a long day's shoot when you bring the Watson Pro C-VM-2C with you. Just plug it into an available outlet, and it quietly recharges any two V-mount batteries while you work.
Dual Output
The charger outputs 16.8V, 3A on each channel, so adding a second battery to the charger won't slow down the charging process. And unlike sequential chargers, both batteries receive the same current and recharge at the same rate.
Metal Construction
The metal construction, along with the built-in heat louvers, effectively dissipates heat and prevents overheating that can cause charging delays. Metal construction is also good for travel because it will withstand the bumps and dings that come along with transporting your gear to a location.
Stable Base
Just plug it in, set it down on a flat surface, and forget about it. The wide base is stable even when only one battery is attached. It comes with rubber feet in case you don't want to scratch or damage a nice table or desktop.
Indicator LEDs
The charger is designed for simplicity, right down to the indicator LEDs. There's one LED per channel, and it changes color when the battery is fully charged and ready to go.
Protective Circuitry
Built-in circuitry protects against overcurrent, overvoltage, overheating, and short circuits. Your valuable batteries will not be damaged during charging, even if you're hit with a power surge or spike.
Carry Handle

I bought two of these and so far, they have been phenomenal for the price. Time will tell how long it lasts versus my IndiePros, or IDX battery systems.

A POWERHOUSE battery!

I've used Watson batteries for many years and they've never let me down so when I got this battery I knew it would be something that lasts me years to come! First things first, this battery is big and it's not light weight. It's definitely made for professionals who need a large source of power to power one device for a super long time or several devices for extended periods of time. I've never had a v-mount battery that had more than one d-tap so this batteries 4 d-tap feature has to be the biggest benefit for me. This battery has 4 d-taps, one usb-c and two usb-a outputs. Even though this battery does NOT come with a charger, the battery can be charged with a usb-c cable. I have yet to see how long it would take to charge the battery with a usb-c cable because I have a dedicated v-mount multiple battery charging hub. The stand out feature of this battery is the display. The display is very bright and give the battery life reading, voltage reading, current reading and best of all it tells you how much life the battery has left before it depletes. It's rare that I've let a v-mount battery get to zero, but having the battery tell you the real world time is just one less thing to worry about. Something I noticed while using this battery on set is that the display screen does not turn off automatically. You have the option to leave it on or manually turn it off - it does not power off after 15secs like other devices I own. That's not a big deal except that in dark areas the display's brightness can be a distraction on set. I'm a huge fan of this battery because it's allowed me to use a monitors and lights without having to worry about running out of power in a short time frame. In most cases I know that if I have this battery on a rig, my rig will last at least 8 hours. Even though this battery is not intended to travel with via airplane it has allowed me to step up my game and be more mobile on gigs. I'm a fan!
