I bought this because it was cheaper and LIGHTER than the Bose S1. I'm a bit disappointed in the EQ and effects aspects, and the power is much less than then the Bose. BUT that is trade off for the weight, I suppose. It sounds pretty good.
The unit looks amazing, immediately after opening I realized I should have gotten two of them. I have had great success with my other Alto speakers and sub, and even as an audiophile I was pleased with the performance given the low cost. Unfortunately this Busker unit out of the box gave me all sorts of issues and is being returned. I'm on the fence about trying another as I've heard a lot of complaints from people about Alto and my feeling is it might be better to stick with them for simpler products. The unit was completely unstable, volume wouldn't work and then it would just come on out of nowhere. Cracking noises, clearly this unit was a defective one, and like I said I'm tempted to try another but not sure if I'll have issues down the road even if I get a good one now.
