Blackstar has done away with unnecessary bells and whistles in favor of an amp that provides excellent tone and the most important features for a modern guitarist, including a series FX loop and headphone/line output with speaker emulation. You also get a bright switch on the clean channel and patented ISF tone control for shifting through decades of amp voicings. Plate and hall-style reverb are also on tap for sweetening your tone.
The overdrive channel is based on Blackstar's award-winning St. James 6L6 overdrive, a modern British tube overdrive. The clean channel is based on the revered HT-20R Mk III's clean tone, with lots of headroom that breaks up naturally when pushed hard, making it ideal as a pedal platform.
