The baseplate allows you to mount the camera onto a tripod or a dovetail, and the Arca-type riser can utilize the included baseplate or be mounted directly onto the Wooden Camera Arca-type shoulder pad or Arca-type Steadicam plate.
The riser ensures added accessories are at the proper optical height for the camera, and it also includes a lens mount adapter and an adjustable rail to keep everything aligned and secure.
