This device enables you to mount a relatively larger softbox onto a B10x, B10x plus series light (or the newer B20 & B30) without stressing the limited capacity stand adapter. I use it whenever I mount a larger than 3 ft softbox or off brand like an Elinchrom Octa to my Profoto fixtures. As most Kupo stuff tends to be it is solid - and becomes indispensable.
