SMART Technologies RX2-7L Overview

The SMART Technologies RX Series 65" UHD 4K Touchscreen Commercial Monitor with 7-Year Warranty is built to evolve around the needs of today's classrooms. Designed for ease of use and accessibility, the RX265-7L offers user-programmable tools to help support more inclusivity.

The RX series is a 490 nits bright interactive LCD screen with up to 40-point simultaneous touch via HyPr Touch with Advanced IR technology. The built-in iQ system powered by Android 13 offers intuitive tools to simplify and personalize the experience for each user, including Google EDLA, personalized apps and home screen, and NFC secure sign-in. The RX265-7L includes an integrated 55W 2.1-channel soundbar, built-in eight-microphone array with noise cancelling, and you can easily add an optional USB camera for a complete hybrid learning solution.

Flexible Connectivity
The SMART Board RX series features a full suite of inputs to connect your computers, video players, mobile devices, and peripherals. In addition to the hard-wired connections, the RX265-7L includes integrated Wi-Fi 6e as well as two-way Bluetooth 5.2 wireless.

For walk-up-and-use convenience, the front panel has an HDMI 2.1 input, a USB-C alt DisplayPort input with power output to charge your laptop or tablet while you use it. There are also two USB-A inputs for connecting USB drives or other peripherals, and a USB-B for touch control.

The back panel hosts three more HDMI 2.1 inputs, along with a VGA input. Another full-function USB-C port is available, along with three more each of USB-A and USB-B connections. The RX series also has an OPS slot for SMART module expansion and a MicroSD slot with a security cover.

Touch Features
Featuring HyPr Touch with Advanced IR on optically bonded glass, the RX series offers a smooth and accurate touchscreen experience. The system is capable of up to 40 points of touch with Windows, 32 with Android, 20 with Mac, or 10 points with Chrome OS. Two interactive pens with multi-color select and fine eraser are included.

SMART Ink brings your students' favorite learning tools and lets you annotate your files, web browsers, and applications for both Windows and Mac. SMART Ink keeps annotations where you put them as you move between programs, so you never lose what you wrote. Differentiated pens mean each student can choose their own SMART Ink tool, including art pens, shape recognition pen, highlighters, and more.

Geared Toward Early and Special Education
With Tool Explorer, students can interact with physical objects, like cubes and stamps, which are automatically recognized by the display. This opportunity for engaging kinesthetic learning with real-world objects makes the RX series a great choice for early and special education. Every board includes easy-to-access, forward-facing ports and controls with large, intelligently illuminated buttons for ease of use in situations of low light or visual impairment.
Integrated Sensors
The RX series comes equipped with a variety of sensors to monitor the display and the environment in order to optimize safety and efficiency. They include sensors for proximity, ambient light, infrared, room temperature, humidity, volatile organic compound (VOC), and Particulate Matter (PM2.5). Additionally, you can quickly log in with the tap of an RFID or CCID-enabled card through the integrated NFC reader.
