Canon ERC-R5S Reviews
Let it rain!
I have an early version of the Canon rain cover for my 5D Mark IV and it has protected the camera from downpours of rain! In Alaska, we had rain coming down that made color photos look like black and white photos. This ERC-R5S is made from the same material and I believe that it will protect as well. In the photos, this is the small version of the rain cover and I have it laying on the R5 Mark II, with the EF 24-105 extended out. It should protect most lens. I will need to get the large version for the EF 200-800 lens! I use the viewfinder to take most of my photos and the early version would make the viewfinder available on the outside of the rain cover (It has a rubber seal that goes around the viewfinder) . The new rain cover is more of a design to use the screen. That is the only thing that I do not like about the new rain cover (viewfinder is not outside of the cover).
