Eliminating the need for a dedicated battery charger, this rechargeable battery comes with a 24" USB-C cable designed for use with most USB power adapters and power banks. An LED status indicator illuminates red during charging and changes to green when charging is complete. The battery also features built-in overcharge, discharge, overheating, and short-circuit protection.

Please note, this battery cannot be charged using the original Canon charger and must be charged using the included USB-C cable.

Nice Charging Option With One Caveat

The ONE Caveat This Battery Has Is That It Doesn't Show "charging Performance" On The Battery Screen In The Camera And Also Shows "full" All The Time On The Camera's Display While Discharging, So You Don't Get A Warning Before It Goes Flat. The Counterbalance Is That You Can Charge It Off Any USB-C Cable. Thus There Is A Trade-off In That Other Than Plugging It In And Getting A "charged" Light You Do Not Know Its Actual Charge Condition. This Is In Contrast To The SmallRig Ones With USB Sockets That Work On The Larger Canon Cameras (e.g. The R6MkII) Which DO Show Charge State.
