Versatile focal length, great low light, awesome bokeh in portraits

For me, if I'm going to walk around with one prime, 20mm is the perfect focal length for APSC. I always have my iPhone 17 Pro in my pocket if I am looking for clinical sharpness, or a zoom.....but I think if you're going to carry around an A6500 with a heavy lens (yeah, it's heavy) the setup had better be able to do something the phone can't. At 0.95 low light shots are rich and sumptuous, and the bokeh behind portrait shots is just gorgeous. Despite the shallow depth of field it's super easy to focus (I use focus peaking set to low on my Sony). This lens slaps-leave it wide open and you'll come home from your trip with a bunch of shots no phone could have taken.

Yes, the Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 20mm f/0.95 Lens (Canon RF) will vignette if you use it on a full frame sensor camera.
