The 3M Privacy Filter for 21.5" 16:9 Full Screen Monitors, B&H # 3MPF215W9EM, can reduce glare thanks to its matte finish surface; however, ultimately what will determine how well it will work under direct sunlight is how bright your display can get. The filter will already have an impact on the brightness of the display, so a display that doesn't get very bright to begin with might become unusable or harder to use under direct sunlight with this filter.
