PMI SmokeNINJA Overview

Designed for photographers, entry-level videographers, and content creators, the PMI SmokeGENIE SmokeNINJA Starter Kit is a handheld, battery-powered, wireless mini smoke machine that quickly creates a cinematic atmosphere instantly with zero waiting.

The kit includes a shock-proof chamber and a 100mL bottle of PMI's Cloud formula that's optimized for the machine's performance. The SmokeNINJA includes a single 18650 3300mAH, 3.7V 10A flat top battery, which provides up to 15 minutes of runtime at maximum output.

Note: Do NOT use third-party fog liquids with the SmokeNINJA. The PMI Cloud Formula is designed to optimize the machine's performance. Due to the unique technology of the chamber, other fog formulas will not work and may cause undesired effects. PMI are not liable for any harm and/or damage when using third-party fog liquids with the SmokeNINJA.

SmokeNINJA can deliver a continuous 60-second burst of smoke and is able to fill a 500 sq ft space. With an intuitive, smart interface, see in real time how much smoke is left before overheating. This also shows the rate of recovery, so you know exactly when the machine is ready to work for you again.
Highly Efficient Chamber Technology
The SmokeNINJA is highly efficient and only consumes 0.5mL of smoke liquid per minute, delivering 200 minutes on a single 100mL bottle. Additionally, the chamber will deliver 100 hours of use.

Stopped working after a month

It looked great when it worked, I used it about five times mostly to test (so I never run it for more than 20-30 seconds and still have a full chamber I initially filled). Then after a month on the shelf, it stopped turning on and didn’t react on connecting to charger. I replaced the battery which didn’t help. Customer support haven’t responded to far either.

No Remote control, as advertised in the B&H listing

Just a heads up to B&H to update the info about this starter kit, because the product listing currently says it includes a remote, but that info is referring to the larger kit(s) with more stuff, nozzles, etc. This starter kit only includes the device, the orange plug, a floppy hose for the dry ice effect, and some fog fluid. Otherwise cool little fog machine.

The PMI SmokeGENIE SmokeNINJA Theatrical Fog Generator Starter Kit is an updated version of the previous models, but it is about the same. This is a kit that comes with the parts listed below (but not a nozzle or a case): 1 x SmokeNinja fog generator 1 x Atomizing smoke chamber (consumable) 1 x 100ml of smoke formula refill 1 x SmokeNinja magnetic adapter 1 x SmokeNina 1/4"" mount adapter
