Hydraulic damping joints reduce the chances of accidental rebounding and maintain a stable position while also making adjustment smoother.

The table clamp design ensures a firm hold on any table or desk up to 2.8" thick, even when setting up or repositioning. The included ball head with a 1/4"-20 screw mount and 10 cable ties add further utility and compatibility. The pole sections measure 1.2" in diameter, each measuring 14" in length.

This is another Smallrig piece of kit that is kinda cool overall, but kinda falls short. (FYI: Generally speaking I absolutely LOVE Smallrig and have bought enough of their products that I own stock). But.... 1) The two knurled knobs, put some fine teeth in those joints and make the lock tension more notable. Currently, you just crank and crank the knobs and they never stop cleanly... and the joints sag unless you really crank on the knobs. 2) Needs to carry more weight with arm extended. (See my not above e about using teeth in the joints instead of friction)... this could hold quite a bit more weight if the joints had teeth.
