With 16 flexible FSR RGB backlit pads, eight programmable encoders, pitch/bend controls, and a new crisp OLED display, Launchkey 61 is a full-fledged DAW nerve center.
Further control features including buttons for pad page, scene launch, function, encoder page, capture MIDI, undo, quantize, and metronome, octave up and down, and full transport controls. View what chord you're playing in real time with the OLED display, lock the notes on your keyboard into a specific musical key, activate three chord modes (Fixed Chord, User Chord, and Chord Maps), and utilize the powerful and programmable internal arpeggiator. Versatile connectivity lets you connect MIDI gear via 5-pin DIN, computers and smart devices via USB-C, and sustain pedals via 1/4". And like all Launchkey products, Launchkey 61 includes a suite of powerful software to facilitate creation right out of the box.
Fixed Chord mode triggers full chords from a single key, and new Chord Maps take things further, allowing you to craft emotive progressions from Launchkey’s pads. And the latest iteration of Novation's much-loved arpeggiator makes it easier than ever to twist and mutate your sequences for endless inspiration.
Unlike standard pads, each one features a unique radial sensor that increases sensitivity and improves consistency for even tighter performances. They can also be set to trigger chords or individual notes with polyphonic aftertouch.
With up to 50 individual delay lines at your command, you can precisely control volume, predelay, feedback, and high-shelf EQ for each one. Slammer is a multisample drum plug-in that contains 30 different instruments made from a large number of carefully recorded and edited samples with highly customizable settings for pitch, filtering, effect sends, decay time, velocity mapping, and more.
