I bought this on the recommendation of a friend who consults for many of the most well-known lens manufacturers (think of the names you know). While it's not anamorphic, it is a beautiful, well-behaved, full-frame lens, and a welcome addition to the lens locker. Crisp, without being clinical, and having a gorgeous vintage vibe from the lens coatings. I'll echo what others have said regarding the close proximity of the aperture ring to the lens mount, but other than that, I've really enjoyed it, so far.
