Premium Design
To support high current and power handling, SVS utilizes narrow-tolerance resistors and wide-trace PCBs in the adapter. This equates to a wide bandwidth with ultra-low distortion and pinpoint accuracy. The adapter will also ensure the signal is safe for the subwoofer inputs with -30 dBV attenuation, which does not draw any power from a loudspeaker amplifier.

Use for Definitive Technology BP980X failed internal subwoofer amp

One of my speakers had a failed subwoofer amp that I hadn't noticed for years, and I really like the bass it put out. I tired to fix the amp looking for an obvious failed part on the circuit board. Then I did some research and came across AIYIMA A70 Mono Amplifier with PFFB 300 watt which seemed a better fit that a Fosi amp, but I needed an adapter to convert high-voltage speaker signals from receiver into clean low voltage RCA line level signals to the Aiyima amp. The SVS SoundPath got great reviews and frankly, was the only option for a high quality signal, I was lucky to find this.

I used the SoundPath Speaker Level Subwoofer Adapter to connect an older stereo receiver to a power amp.The receiver did not have pre outs to connect to the amp so i connected this to the speaker outputs and connected the rca jacks on the SoundPath Speaker Level Subwoofer Adapter to the power amp. It converted the volume level to a line level that is still controlled by the volume knob on the receiver.Works great and is simple to install. Exactly what i needed.
