If you want a height adjustable bracket - buy this one! Yes it does cost more than some others, and for good reason. It is an excellent design and works perfectly! 1. It is very easy to install the bracket to the wall. The design caters for the first hole to be drilled, plugged and the bracket placed upon this; then you can mark the other 5 holes accurately. 2. It has a small spirit level included - i wonder why so tiny, got my decent spirit level out and it became apparent why the small supplied level - you can place it on the various parts you wish to ensure are level and it rests on them perfectly. This makes it a one person job! 3. The plate that fixes to the back fo the TV (vesa mount) detaches. Bolt it to the back of the tv. AA variety of screws/spacers are included for standard vesa fittings. Note Sony use non standard M5 bolts and the recess is very deep on the Sony TV I have. Check the TV box for the Sony spacers, which you did keep ... right? If not cross Sony's palm with far to much money for another set. 4. Place the TV onto the arm which is very easy due to the excellent design, and tighting the nuts. 5. I was mounting a 50" TV (weighing 13Kg). With care I managed this by myself 6. Adjust the spring with the supplied large allen key. Large so it doesn't take to much effort. 7. Sit back and watch the TV with a well earned cuppa. This is the easiest TV wall bracket I have ever installed, no cursing, no pinched fingers. Highly recommended and worth every penny of the higher cost
