With remarkable load capacity for its size and smooth strain wave gearing, the HAE43C Dual Alt-Az / Equatorial Mount from iOptron will point your optic or camera to the wonders of the cosmos. Utilizing strain wave drive technology for RA and DEC movement, it supports a payload up to 55 pounds with a counterweight or 44 pounds without one.
The mount can be controlled by computer via the USB-C port, running ASCOM/Commander for a Windows PC or a third party INDI driver for a Mac OS software, but can also be operated by using an optional 8411 handset.
