All you really need.

I've seen lots of Pyxis rigs with bulky, busy cages. This top plate might be all you really need. I keep a decently stripped back rig, but this top plate is low profile with enough connecting points for a top handle and numerous other accessories. I also appreciate that this top plate keeps airflow going through the top of the camera. Too many cages completely block the airflow meant to cool the camera, which concerns me in hot environments. If you are looking to keep your Pyxis rig lightweight, this is a great, well designed and manufactured option.

This is a high quality product and the fit is excellent. Highs, lots of mounting points, built in front NATO rail. Very lightweight yet strong. Lows, lack of mounting points where the hatch marks are. Unnecessary front NATO rail if that is not what you need. All in all a good value for the money.
