Godox Grid for TP2R Reviews
Works for some other lights as well
So, I was looking for an inexpensive eggcrate for my 2' fixtures. Although this is listed as an eggrate for a Godox unit that is technically 18", it is actually 24". That's because the Godox unit is about 24" long, even tough the bulb itself is only 18". Anyway, where the bulb sits is not very deep, so it did not work for my quasar units - as they are pretty thick. If the velcro straps were longer that may have made the difference. In fact, that's why this doesn't get 5 stars. The velcro straps that wrap around the tube are too short - IMHO. But it did work with my 2' full color Pavo tubes - so I'm keeping it. The depth of the crate is pretty good. It's not too shallow. So it directs the light well. Some might even argue it is to deep. The other recommendation I'd have is an extra piece of velcro to keep the velcro tabs out of the way while your placing the tube in the unit. Would I buy another one? Maybe.
