Enlarging
As an attachement for a 4 x 5 camera, the Intrepid Enlarger may be used with a standard large-format lens or a traditional enlarging lens mounted to the supplied m39 lens board (for lenses with 39mm thread mounts). If you shoot 4 x 5, you'll likely be able to use a lens you already have.
LED Lights and Timer Specs
After mounting the camera onto a copy stand or tripod, attach the light source directly to the 4 x 5 camera in the place of the ground glass (it accepts any 4 x 5 camera with a Graflok back).
Perfectly calibrated for printing and fully controlled by a timer, the LED lights include built-in CMY color controls and contrast filters, so you don't have to acquire them. Additionally, it includes a built-in safelight for printing.
The new-generation timer includes additional manual settings for adjusting contrast, focus, output light strength, color balance, and saving time settings.
Another feature of the timer panel allows the user to dismount the light source and utilize it as a backlight for digitizing film with a DSLR camera or smartphone.
Scanning Mode
This mode utilizes the light source as a backlight for digitizing your negatives using a DSLR or smartphone. It’s calibrated perfectly to create a neutral image and has the option to manually program and save color balance settings for different film stocks.

Can be used as an enlarger for formats from 35mm to 4x5 with filtration and timer for color and black and white. It is lightweight and pretty easy to figure out. It fit my large format camera back nicely. The price is wonderful, but you need a heavy copy stand column which can be very expensive.

This kit works great for my setup. I use this with a Graflex Crown Graphic 4x5 camera with graflock back. I simply remove the back and attach the light source. The lens I use is the lens that came with the camera, a Graflex Optar 135mm f/4.7. I attached the camera to the Kaiser RS 1 copy stand. This is a large copy stand and I would have liked the RS 2 but it suggested a camera weight limit of just over 3 pounds and my Crown Graphic is over 5 pounds. The camera is sturdy on the stand and aligns well. I really like the controls with this kit. Instead of having external filters and timer to mess with, everything is in one unit and easy to change settings at one source. My enlargements came out sharp and impressive. Very glad I purchased this kit. The attached photo shows my setup.

The Intrepid Camera 4 x 5 Enlarger Kit will not fit an Omega enlarger. Instead you could use it to replace your current enlarger.
