The overpriced Blackmagic Design equivalent cable I purchased previously malfunctioned after a time so I decided to give this ZILR cable a try. It works like a charm. I am able to record 5.7K 23.98 and 4K 59.94 BRAW using this cable connecting a Panasonic EVA1 to a BMD VA 12G HDR 5 inch monitor recorder. Internal recording is disabled while recording RAW externally thus a reliable cable is super important. I plan to purchase another one of these cables as a backup since the cable is a single point of failure in the setup when shooting RAW. I have had good luck using a ZILR HDMI cable to record RAW externally from Lumix cameras and can confirm that their SDI cable works as well.

Blackmagic went with what they call a "micro" bnc connection for their 5" recorder/monitor. Luckily this cable works well the monitor, and the flexibility and material is great. I would definitely buy this again to get spares, and different lengths. Much preferred to the stiffer cables on offer from Blackmagic themselves (that were also back ordered and more expensive.)
