The circular threaded 77mm Kase MCUV III Ultra Slim UV Filter provides a slim form factor and 99% light transmittance when used to reduce ultraviolet light and protect the front of the lens. The filter reduces glare, reflections, and lens flares even in wide-angle applications. The double-sided, multicoated optical glass is oilproof, waterproof, and scratch- and dust-resistant. The filter was also designed to accommodate the manufacturer's lens caps and hoods with the filter attached.
