Aggressive texture on the face of the sight allows you to rack your slide against any surface. The Defender-ST is motion-activated and shuts off automatically after 10 minutes. The battery installs on the top, so you don't have to re-zero your optic when replacing it (which won't happen often, considering the battery's 25,000-hour lifespan.)
