Featuring premium optical elements and a rugged 2.5" focuser, the ED 102mm f/7 Doublet APO Refractor optical tube assembly from Starfield is suited to both observation and imaging. Its doublet apochromatic lens system with extra-low dispersion Ohara FPL53 and Lanthanum elements yields clear, bright, high-contrast images with true color rendition. The two-speed brass rack-and-pinion focuser allows fine focusing and supports 1.25" and 2" eyepieces as well as hefty CMOS or CCD cameras and accessories. The OTA requires a tripod and mount for use, which are sold separately.
