Add another layer of expression and sonority to your small and large string sections with Vienna Symphonic Library Synchron Duality Strings Sordino (Full Library).  This library comprises two muted string ensembles that were recorded at once, performing perfectly in tune with each other in separate rooms at Synchron Stage Vienna. The large muted ensemble was played in the huge main hall, Stage A, delivering a fuller, more symphonic sound. The smaller, chamber-sized muted ensemble was recorded with close mics in the relatively dry and intimate Stage B, the perfect place to zoom in on those meticulously recorded articulations. Use these muted ensembles separately, or blend them together as you like to spice things up and add definition and immediacy to your arrangements.
