The console offers intuitive control over both video and audio sources with its onboard controls, 2" touchscreen display, and rotary encoder. A variety of connectivity options, including HDMI and USB-C ports, accommodate UVC video sources as well as both analog and digital audio sources. Up to 20 possible audio sources, or nine stereo channels, can be connected to the RODECaster Video using both wired and wireless connections. Add the RODECaster Video to your preexisting RODE audio ecosystem using the USB-C audio ports or RODE Central software for advanced device configuration.

Can cameras record in-cam at 4k and the Rodecaster just converts the HDMI signal to 1080?
Asked by: Joe
If your selected cameras are able to record 4K in camera and output via HDMI, the HDMI signal would need to be able to output at 1080p60 max in order to be accepted by the RODE RODECaster Video All-in-One Production Console. Usually the output resolution of your camera's HDMI can be changed via a setting such as HDMI Resolution or if on Auto, may automatically switch to match the resolution accepted by the RODECaster Video if directly connected via HDMI.
