This UEE Rear Cap Assembly replaces the push-button cap on SureFire Dual-Fuel series Scout Light weaponlights, permitting use of a remote switch. The remote switch is sold separately. Made of hard-anodized aluminum, the cap is gasket-sealed and waterproof. This cap is not necessary for Turbo Scout Light Pro models.

Very grateful for B&H Photo for stocking this SureFire tail cap and getting the details right. This might look like every other UE tailcap that's been around for ages, but the SureFire UEE tailcap is actually quite different. It has a dual-coil spring design, a little microchip in the center of the spring, and has KE2-DF ONLY etched on it by SureFire. It's intended for their 1,500 LUMEN, 18650 powered-lights. (Specifically, the M640DF. NON-Turbo version). However, it also worked perfectly with my M640DFT for what it's worth, I believe this will handle any Dual Fuel, but SureFire says the M640DF with the KE2-DF Light head requires either a UEE or DSE tailcap for optimal performance. I realize this is confusing.... but thanks to SureFire support for clearing this up, and to B&H for stocking the correct part, and shipping it super fast. A+ TLDR: The UEE is a totally different tail cap than the regular UE, although it looks identical, it's designed for specific high-lumen (1,500) lights. SureFire even ships it with the UE manual in the pouch, but this is 100% the UEE model coming from B&H.
