Send audio over shielded Cat 5 cable with the white SoundTools WallCAT WC511-W Two-Gang Wall Plate. It has four male XLR terminals and a female EtherCON connector on the front, with two RJ45 terminals on the back for passing audio, DMX, AES3, or intercom signals over Ethernet to support long cable runs. The double-gang wall plate is designed to fit standard electrical junction boxes.
