The leveling bubble on my tripod went away when the cover to it cracked, so I bought this product. I don't shoot a lot of panoramas, but in my experience this is the only time that the level gauge in the camera alone is insufficient -- the tripod head has to be level as well. This leveling head is easy to put onto the tripod, is a snap to operate, and is very accurate, giving a crisp and level panorama. I highly recommend it.
