Nanlite Forza 60CR Overview

A lightweight and compact fixture with a color temperature range from 1800 to 20,000K, the Forza 60CR RGBLAC LED Spotlight with CRMX Kit from Nanlite features a 6-color mixing technology, which includes lime, amber, and cyan LED beads, for producing an impressive array of accurate lighting and vibrant colors. The Forza 60CR RGBLAC produces 12,810 lux at 3.3' (5600K). It's designed to allow you to work in the studio or to take out into the field with AC power and NP-F or V-mount battery options. This kit includes convenient accessories such as a padding carrying case, a Bowens mount adapter, and a battery handgrip. Also, this model features a built-in CRMX LumenRadio.

Accurate Colors in Abundance
The Forza 60CR RGBLAC features a CRI of 96 and a TLCI of 95, allowing you to reproduce colors precisely. Additionally, 15 built-in effects are available to customize and save as presets in the NANLINK app.
FM Mount Advantage
With an FM Mount, this spotlight benefits from the compatibility of light modifiers such as softboxes, projectors, or a Fresnel.

I have two and plan to get several more. Yes, the Aputure 80C is out which is pretty much the same product except with an IP rating. However, these are still great units and, most importantly, have a really good spotlight/leko/projector mount (whatever you want to call it) readily available. That in itself is a HUGE deal, and I hardly ever use these without the projector attachments. The color and price are both great. I disagree heavily with the other reviewer saying the mount feels cheap. It feels like any other bowens style mount that I’ve come across. No better or worse really, and I’ve never had an issue with the mount breaking or failing in about a year of owning and using them on plenty of commercials and several feature films. Only reason it is not five stars is because the dmx smoothing could use some work. Its fades are a bit steppy. Hopefully, that is something that Nanlite can work to improve with a firmware update.

The actual light and power brick are great! Definitely 5-star material. The Bowens adaptor is garbage: cheap plastic and nearly impossible to tighten if you put a reasonable soft box on it. If you're just using it as a spotlight, go for it. If you're using it with any Bowens modifiers, look to another brand.

The Nanlite Forza 60CR RGBLAC LED Spotlight with CRMX (3-Light Kit) comes with the Nanlite Forza 60 Battery Grip (Sony L / NP-F). They also make a V-Mount battery grip, the Nanlite V-Mount Battery Grip for Forza 60 II, 60B II, 60C, and FC-60B.
