Long Weekend Santa Fe Reviews

Great camera bag for street photography

I bring this bag with me just about anywhere. I've read many reviews of people saying the bag is too small. For comparison, I was able to fit my GFX 50R with the 55mm f1.7 Fuji lens just fine -- yes, it's snug, but it's not bulky too the point where you can't use your other pockets. Currently, I use this bag to daily carry my Leica M10, and I have more than enough space to fit several other accessories that I carry in my pockets. In the rectangular pouch, I can fit an external portable charger. In the small pouch, I was able to fit 6 rolls of film -- you'll need to tetris your way to make them fit, but it works. I haven't seen any tears in my bag, velcro is still intact, the zipper works fine, and the pouch pocket is still sewn perfectly. I hope the following is fixed in the next iteration: - use a different type of external material. This bag can pick up dog hair, lint, or any type of small fabric pretty easily.

Holds up, with compromise

I bought this bag when it just came out and I still use it occasionally. First off, the bag is overpriced for what you get. I think $50 should be the max you pay, so wait for a sale. My biggest issue with the bag is the strap, its easily the cheapest part of the bag. The strap is rough and its design doesn't let it sit against the body well. I actually cut mine off and used a better one which turned out to be a substantial upgrade. There is also no padding and the inside zip pocket is hard to use when there is anything in the bag. It's not all bad though! This bag is perfect for folding polaroid cameras! It can easily fit a polaroid 680 and 2 packs of film in the front pockets. I use my bag primarily for a modified SX-70 with a little pouch filled with the macro lens and self timer, all in the main compartment. The front velcro pouch carries a pack of film and one leg of my mini tripod without issue. The front drawstring pouch carries another pack of film or my mint flashbar. I haven't had any issues with the fabric tearing or the stiching coming loose. The front drawstring pouch hasn't given out, but I did need to adjust the knot to my liking. The zippers still work as they did new, but depending on how the drawstring pouch is set, they might take on a warped shape and be hard to open/close. If you can get this for around $50 and you don't mind cutting off the strap to replace it, then this is a good buy. Heavily recommended for a folding Polaroid kit.

Will a dslr and a lens fit in this bag?
Asked by: Amanda
The Long Weekend Santa Fe Shoulder Bag (Creme Multi) is only 2.5" deep, so it would not hold a DSLR and lens.
