My New Favorite Sling!

Bought This Sight Unseen With Hardly Any Reviews But Wanted A Good Alternative To The More Expensive Bellroy Venture Ready Sling 2 .5L. I Just Got Back From A 10 Day Trip To Seoul, South Korea And Carried This Everyday With Me. I Had My Fujifilm X100V And All My EDC Items (wallet, Keys, Chapstick, Portable Battery, Extra Fuji Batteries, Etc) Inside Of This Bag And I Still Had Space To Spare! It Doesn’t Feel Too Big While Wearing But Has Ample Space To Carry Whatever You Need. I Primarily Got This For Just Carrying The X100V But Ended Up Using This For Much More Than That. The Attached Pictures Show The Camera Inside The Bag And Zipped Up. Completely Happy With This Purchase.

Nice bag with a few issues

I did research on different brands and various sizes of sling bags. I thought the Tomtoc Aviator 2.5L would be a good fit, because my current belt bag is a 1L and too small. Unfortunately, the Tomtoc 2.5 L is much larger than I expected. (See photo size comparison) It’s very well made, the YKK zippers are very smooth, and it’s priced fairly. The material is very stiff, so it hangs awkwardly across my body. (See photo) I’ve come to realize I prefer to wear these as a belt bag, so it might work for someone who prefers sling bags. I think the website states you can wear it on your waist, but I don’t see how that would work. It is definitely designed to wear over your shoulder, and your left shoulder at that. If it had a grab handle with a removable strap, I think it would be a great small SLR camera bag with plenty of room for extra lenses and accessories. It’s just too stiff and big for me, so unfortunately I will be returning it. B&H Photo was great, and I received it days early. They also did a great packing job. I hope this helps those trying to decide!
