Multiple Interfaces

Will this camera have phase detection auto focus like the GH7?

Based on various press releases, it appears as though the AW-UB10 does not utilize phase detection autofocus. Its system is only contrast detect, like the BGH1 it replaces.

The two cameras are very similar, but the main difference is the recording formats of the Panasonic AW-UB10 4K Multipurpose Box Camera. The AW-UB10 supports 4K MP4 & MOV H.264/H.265/HEVC 8-bit recording formats, and the Panasonic BGH1 records to MOV and 10-bit 4:2:2 All-Intra and LongGOP recordings, and it has 4:2:2, H.264/H.265/HEVC recording modes.
