The X1-Mini Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone from Movo is a compact and lightweight microphone designed to improve your audio results when shooting with a mobile device or DSLR/mirrorless camera. It features both a digital USB-C output compatible with Android/iOS smartphones and an analog 3.5mm jack for use with cameras, which can also function as a headphone jack when you're using the digital connection.
The mic's electret-condenser capsule has a supercardioid pickup pattern that focuses audio capture on the source directly in front of the mic capsule, rejecting much of the unwanted sound from the sides and rear for clearer sound with less noise and room tone. The X1-Mini offers a 24-bit recording resolution when used with digital devices and sports a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and a -33 dB sensitivity rating. A variety of cables and windscreens are provided, along with a carrying case.
