The Metabones T CINE Smart Adapter Mark II is designed to allow a Canon EF or EF-S mount lens to be used with a Canon RF mount camera with electronic communication and control, including autofocus, aperture, Exif, and image stabilization lens support. This high-precision device is constructed from aluminum alloy for lightweight durability and has brass mounting rings to prevent further wear and tear. The adapter features a positive-lock EF mount.
The adapter includes a removable tripod collar with a detachable Arca-type compatible tripod foot, and it has a matte black internal surface that minimizes the potential for reflections within the adapter barrel to prevent unwanted glare in the image. If the lens includes autofocus, image stabilization, and camera-controlled aperture functions, this adapter allows those features to be used. If an attached lens is also capable of generating Exif metadata when used with a directly compatible camera, the adapter will allow that information to be saved along with the image files generated.
