The Metabones Canon EF Lens to Micro Four Thirds T CINE Smart Adapter Mark II is designed to allow a Canon EF or EF-S-mount lens to be used with a Micro Four Thirds-mount camera with electronic communication and control, including autofocus/PDAF, aperture, Exif, and image stabilization lens support. This high-precision device is constructed from aluminum alloy for lightweight durability and has brass mounting rings to further prevent wear and tear. The adapter features a positive-lock EF-mount, and it can be powered either by the camera or by an optional 5V power source.
The adapter includes a removable tripod collar with a detachable Arca-type compatible tripod foot. It has a silver exterior and a matte black internal surface that minimizes reflections and glare within the adapter barrel. If the lens includes autofocus, image stabilization, and camera-controlled aperture functions, this adapter is intended to allow those features to be used. If an attached lens is also capable of generating Exif metadata when used with a directly compatible camera, the adapter is designed to allow that information to be saved along with generated image files.
