Grace Design m303 Overview

Deliver ultraquiet, interference-free DI performance for musicians in studios or on stage with the m303 from Grace Design, an active, phantom-powered DI box with true galvanic isolation for complete ESD and RFI protection. Featuring a custom-wound Lundahl transformer, the m303 offers pro-quality audio with superior bass response.

The m303 provides ultralow distortion and noise with a wide frequency bandwidth (20 Hz to 80 kHz) and dynamic range. The high-impedance 1/4" input supports any line-level source as well as instruments with passive pickups. The DI box features a balanced XLR output and a 1/4" thru connector for diverting your signal to an amp or other destination. The m303 sports a switchable -13 dB input pad for overly hot signals and LED indicators for peak and power. And with a durable extruded aluminum chassis made in the USA, the m303 is built to stand the test of time.

Custom Lundahl Transformer
The custom-wound Lundahl transformer is a unique feature that gives the m303 an edge against many competing DI boxes. The transformer is magnetically shielded and features a high-nickel core. This high level of nickel content increases magnetic permeability, resulting in higher primary inductance, and therefore, better low-frequency response. The unit also draws phantom power very efficiently, drawing only 4mA of current.
Superior Audio Performance
Along with excellent low-end clarity and high-frequency detail, the m303 also features very low distortion, ultralow noise, and an exceptionally wide spectral bandwidth. The wide dynamic range of 124 dB and low-frequency headroom also ensure that every ounce of your signal makes it to its destination intact.
Built to Last
The m303 is built in the USA and constructed from extruded aluminum with a 1/4" wall. This design is very rugged and will resist impacts, temperature, and EM interference. The connectors are recessed for extra safety, and the toggle switches use high-quality gold contacts for resistance to corrosion.
